Job summary

Reed Engineering are recruiting for an Electrically Biased Maintenance Technician on behalf of a leading heavy industrial manufacturer near Cardiff. This role involves electrical fault finding, maintenance and calibration across production plant and site services.

You will work on motors, drives and instrumentation, support start-ups and shutdowns, and contribute to safety and reliability improvements in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Electrical fault finding and repairs across production plant and site services.
• Planned preventative maintenance and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintenance of motors, drives, control panels and instrumentation systems.
• Calibration and testing of sensors, transmitters and process controls.
• Supporting plant start-ups, shutdowns and commissioning projects.
• Ensuring compliance with site safety procedures and permit-to-work systems.
• Working closely with operations to maximise plant reliability and uptime.
