Job summary

The Royal Veterinary College is recruiting a part-time Grounds Maintenance Technician to support the existing grounds team. This role involves carrying out planned and preventative duties using a range of horticultural tools, machinery and equipment to keep the university grounds in excellent condition.

Candidates should have horticultural or groundskeeping experience, and NVQ or City and Guilds in Horticulture would be advantageous.

Qualifications

• We have horticultural and grounds keeping experience, including the use of appropriate machinery.
• NVQ or City and Guilds Certification in Horticulture would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Undertake planned and preventative duties using a range of horticultural and maintenance tools.
• Maintain the University Grounds to a high standard.

Job description

We are looking to recruit a part time (17.5 hours per week) Grounds Maintenance Technician to support the existing team and undertake a variety of planned and preventative duties using a range of horticultural and maintenance tools, equipment and machinery in order to maintain the University Grounds to a high standard.

You will have horticultural and grounds keeping experience, including the use of appropriate machinery. NVQ or City and Guilds Certification in Horticulture would be advantageous.
