Qualifications

  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Minimum 2 years' previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong commitment to health and safety.
  • Desirable: PA1 and PA6 spraying certificates.
  • Experience within grounds maintenance, horticulture, landscaping, environmental services or a similar operational environment.
  • First Aid trained.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
  • Monitor productivity and work quality, providing guidance and support where required.

  • Complete relevant paperwork, records and reports accurately and on time.
  • Liaise with management, customers and stakeholders regarding operational requirements.
  • Ensure vehicles, tools and equipment are maintained and used correctly.
  • Support training and development of team members.
  • Promote a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Job description

This permanent position, based in March, offers a salary of up to £30,000 for a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, 07:30-16:00. The Grounds Maintenance Supervisor will oversee daily operations, allocate tasks, and work hands-on alongside the crew to uphold contract standards. Key duties include leading by example, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements, and monitoring site conditions. About the role

We are seeking a motivated Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in March.
