Job summary

Royal Veterinary College in Potters Bar invites applications for a part-time Grounds Maintenance Technician (17.5 hours per week). You will support the team with planned and preventative grounds work using a range of horticultural tools, machinery and equipment to keep university grounds in high standard.

Applicants should have horticultural and grounds keeping experience; NVQ or City & Guilds in Horticulture would be advantageous.

Qualifications

• You will have horticultural and grounds keeping experience, including the use of appropriate machinery.
• NVQ or City and Guilds Certification in Horticulture would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking to recruit a part time (17.5 hours per week) Grounds Maintenance Technician to support the existing team and undertake a variety of planned and preventative duties using a range of horticultural and maintenance tools, equipment and machinery in order to maintain the University Grounds to a high standard.

You will have horticultural and grounds keeping experience, including the use of appropriate machinery. NVQ or City and Guilds Certification in Horticulture would be advantageous.
