Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Operative in Leicester to perform general site maintenance and repairs, keeping facilities safe, clean and running smoothly. The role requires practical skills, reliability and the ability to work independently, with health and safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance or handyman experience is desirable.
• Practical and confident using basic tools.
• Reliable, hardworking and hands-on.
• Able to work independently and use your initiative.
• Good attention to detail.
• Flexible and willing to help across the site.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and repair tasks across the site.
• Complete basic repairs to fixtures, fittings, doors and furniture.
• Assist with painting, decorating and general upkeep.
• Carry out basic plumbing and other minor repairs.
• Use hand and power tools safely.
• Identify and report any maintenance issues.
• Keep work areas clean, tidy and organised.
• Support the wider site team with general duties when required.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
