Job summary

JAGUAR LAND ROVER in the UK is recruiting a Maintenance Technician to support Solihull and the Ryton site’s move to Castle Bromwich. You’ll join a skilled team maintaining state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing equipment and technologies to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires an indentured BTec Level 3 apprenticeship in mechanical/electrical maintenance or engineering and hands-on manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Indentured apprenticeship to BTec level 3 in mechanical/electrical maintenance or engineering.
• Maintenance experience in manufacturing/production / automated environments.
• Ability to work across shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and efficient production performance as part of the maintenance team.
• Ensure equipment uptime.
• Maintain manufacturing technologies including robots, automated welding and joining equipment, automated conveyors, complex tooling, and fixturing and lifting equipment.
• Contribute to equipment and automation projects.
• Promote safe working practices.
