Job summary

FujiFilm is seeking a Maintenance Technician – Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) in Billingham to perform safe, compliant maintenance on cGMP assets and related facilities. You will diagnose faults, interpret drawings, and ensure proper handover of equipment within a regulated site.

The role requires a time-served apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical/Instrumentation/Mechanical maintenance, with strong fault-finding skills and familiarity with SAP/CMMS.

Qualifications

• Time-served apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical, Instrument or Mechanical maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding skills in a cGMP or other regulated environment.
• Ability to work unsupervised to exacting standards with a focus on safety.
• Confident using IT systems (SAP or CMMS) and cGMP documentation practices.
• Clear, concise communication and proactive planning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compliant maintenance in line with statutory, site and engineering standards.
• Diagnose faults and complete servicing/repairs to manufacturers’ instructions across E&I assets.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and maintenance manuals.
• Prepare, isolate and reinstate work areas; manage safe handover of plant and equipment.
• Use cGMP systems and SAP to complete, update and archive maintenance documentation.
• Provide daily progress updates via the Engineering planning system.
• Complete Permit to Work training and accept permits within your trade group.

Maintenance Technician – Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I)Location: BillinghamShift: Days (Mon-Fri, 36.5 hours a week)Join our multi-skilled Maintenance team in Billingham and help keep cGMP assets and critical support facilities operating safely and efficiently.
