Omega Resource Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a busy Westfield Distribution Centre in Cumbernauld, Scotland. The role covers planned and reactive electrical/mechanical maintenance with first-line fault isolation. You will perform PPMs, ensure compliance paperwork is up to date, and escalate complex issues as needed. The position is permanent, on-site, with a salary of £39,111.36 (including standby) plus a 5% SLA uplift.
Qualifications
GCSE/Standard Grade minimum required.
NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 236 Parts 1+2 or equivalent in electrical maintenance.
City and Guilds 2382 18th edition.
AM2/2391.
Experience with 3-phase electrics and electrical/mechanical equipment.
Responsibilities
Complete the PPM schedule within agreed timescales and ensure paperwork is accurate.
Respond to Helpdesk service calls and assess/repair as needed.
Prioritise maintenance to meet timescales and response times.
Deliver fire alarm system maintenance.
Conduct emergency lighting tests and repairs.
Follow purchase order process.
Identify non-repairable faults and advise on replacements to the Line Manager.
Ensure compliance documentation is up to date.
