Job summary

STEM Recruitment presents an Electrical Maintenance Technician role with a long-established client on the South side of Edinburgh. The position combines reactive maintenance with planned upkeep to keep a facility running smoothly.

You will diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance, and contribute to efficiency improvements while working within a supportive team and a shift pattern covering days, backs and nights.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualifications or certification required.
• Experience with electrical maintenance in industrial settings preferred.
• Ability to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

Your job with them involves:

• Tackling both reactive and planned maintenance on the companies equipment and facility as and when required.
• Diagnosing and resolving faults
• Completing a proactive schedule of planned preventative maintenance, always on the lookout for ways to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Supporting diverse projects, contributing to process improvement plans, machine installations, upgrades etc

The job requires a skilled electrical technician/engineer who is electrically biased or a multi-skilled technician with electrical qualifications.
