Job summary

Pertemps Black Country Perms in Kingswinford is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment operating safely, reliably and efficiently. You’ll perform planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and reactive repairs across mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.

You’ll maintain records, support continuous improvement initiatives and work with production teams to hit targets.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting industrial or production equipment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with a working understanding of electrical and pneumatic systems.
• Proven fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and respond effectively to breakdown situations.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Flexibility to work overtime when required.
• Willingness to travel internationally on occasion.

Responsibilities

• Keep production equipment operating safely, reliably and efficiently through planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and reactive repairs.
• Troubleshoot across mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems to minimise downtime and improve performance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure operational targets are achieved.
