Our client is seeking a skilled Telecoms Maintenance Technician (CCTV, PA, Access Control) to join a team of engineers on a long-term railway station maintenance contract in Mid Wales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance on communication systems.
  • Handle call-outs and be available for on-call duties.
  • Fault-finding.
  • Maintain and install analogue and IP networked communication systems, including CCTV, fibre, and copper networks.

Job Requirements:

  • Ideally based in Mid Wales.
  • Background in CCTV, Fire & Security, SISS, VSS, display screens (analogue and digital), data networks, fibre, copper, CATV/CAT6.
  • Experience in maintenance or installation of communication systems and infrastructure.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Previous railway experience is an advantage but not essential.
  • Willingness to undergo Railway Medical, Drug & Alcohol test, and DBS check.
  • On-call payments and overtime uplifts.
  • Company van and fuel card provided.
  • Permanent position on a long-term maintenance contract.
  • Training provided for working in the railway sector.
