Job Description

Metro Services is looking to hire 2nd Shift Maintenance Technicians for a Metal Stamping Manufacturing company in Tipton, IN. This is a temp/contract position. Apply Now!

Duties for this position include:

1. Performing general maintenance and PMs on all equipment, machinery, and buildings, involving electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, and carpentry skills.
2. Having knowledge of electrical controls, controllers, and programmable logic controls (PLC) on equipment and the ability to troubleshoot electrical failures, and determine needed repairs to improve the operation.
3. Start-up and shut down E-Coat line.
4. Helping operators set up machines.
5. Follow all safety guidelines and rules while working.

Compensation (USD):

$18.00/hour

Schedule:

2nd Shift Monday - Friday, 3:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m., OT when required (weekends when needed).

Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Clean background and drug screen.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule or be on call if needed.
• Fork Truck Certified.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Listens well and follows directions.
• Have small hand tools.
• Aerial boom, scissor lift, and 5-point harness experience preferred.
• Able to work in confined spaces.
