Job summary

Vanderlande Industries United Kingdom Ltd seeks a Service Technician to support Heathrow IAG Cargo. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose faults, and ensure safe, compliant operations across ULD/Cage/Premia systems.

Experience with Maximo and night shifts is required to sustain operations at the airport. The role emphasizes proactive problem solving, timely breakdown responses, and collaboration with colleagues to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or above in maintenance mechanical/electrical.
• Experience with maintenance planning.
• Willing to work shifts including nights.

Responsibilities

• Perform malfunction and maintenance work, including preventive and periodic maintenance.
• Resolve mechanical, electrical and control faults.
• Ensure rapid response to breakdowns and corrective maintenance.
• Enter work carried out and parts used into Maximo.
• Work across ULD Systems, Cage Systems, Premia.
