Job summary

Ipsen Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team in Wrexham. This hands-on role focuses on ensuring manufacturing equipment is operational and compliant with safety and quality standards. Candidates should have proven experience in a maintenance role and strong troubleshooting skills, preferably in a GMP-regulated environment.

This exciting opportunity involves a 4 on/4 off shift pattern, and reflects Ipsen's commitment to growth and innovation in biopharmaceutical manufacturing.

Qualifications

This role is primarily focused on manufacturing equipment maintenance, where you’ll ensure machinery is operating safely, efficiently, and reliably to support production.You’ll play a critical role in delivering high-quality maintenance activities in a regulated environment, driving equipment performance while upholding the highest standards of cGMP, quality, and safety compliance. **This is a 4 on/4 off shift pattern – 2 days and 2 nights, 6am-6pm and 6pm to 6am.****Key Responsibilities:*** Carry out preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment to maximise uptime and performance* Diagnose faults and deliver effective troubleshooting solutions to minimise production downtime* Support and execute equipment reliability improvements and root cause investigations* Accurately complete maintenance records and CMMS updates, ensuring “right first time” documentation* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support contractors onsite, ensuring safe and compliant delivery of work* Maintain strict adherence to cGMP, EHS, and quality standards, contributing to site KPIs and audit readiness**Knowledge, skills & experience:*** Proven experience in a maintenance technician role within a manufacturing environment* Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills on production equipment* Multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical is preferred.
