Job Description:
AT TJX, we're looking for a Maintenance Technician to help keep our Stoke Processing Centre operation fully functional and running smoothly.
As a Maintenance Technician you will carry out reactive and proactive maintenance on building services and systems within the Processing Centre. You will carry out weekly and monthly legal compliance checks within the PPM guidelines and according to skill level. The role requires the individual to be a team member, flexible and used to working to the high standards set by the department.
Key Responsibilities
Daily, Weekly, Monthly, planned maintenance.
Daily, Weekly, Monthly compliance checks
Fire system pump test
Resolution of maintenance requests
Site installations both electrical and mechanical.
Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Experience of working in a team within a warehousing, logistics or distribution environment preferred.
Manually dextrous
Electrical qualification requirement,
Apprentice trained preferred
Ability to prioritise work efficiently and achieve measurable targets.
Good level of computer literacy
Logical approach to problem solving.
Ability to work at height.
Ability to perform multi-skilled manual tasks.
Ability and willingness to learn new skills.
Ability to be flexible.
Working Pattern
36 hour per week on a 3-week rotational shift pattern
4 x 9-hour shifts
Shifts either 6am - 3pm or 3pm to Midnight
Only working 1 weekend in every 3
