About the Role:

As a Mechanical Bias Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring production is ongoing and machinery is running to company standards. You will handle planned and reactive maintenance for the machinery and wider shop floor equipment across the site, contributing to the growth within the engineering department.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Keep maintenance on site production machinery and monitor equipment for breakdowns or areas of improvement.
2. Perform planned or reactive maintenance on the manufacturing shop floor, ensuring production is at expected capacity.
3. Carry out mechanical maintenance on ovens, gas ovens, production lines, mixers, moulders, and other areas to meet the needs of the business.

The ideal candidate will be a Maintenance Technician/Engineer from a manufacturing background with a mechanical bias. If you are looking to further your career in a food manufacturing facility that is currently expanding, this role is perfect for you!

Key Skills/Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a Maintenance Technician or similar position.
• Experience within a manufacturing environment performing planned or reactive maintenance.
• Certificate NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in engineering, manufacturing, or mechanical field and/or mechanical bias.
