Your Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Dorchester, MA. This is a full-time opportunity in the property maintenance field at a multi-site portfolio of residential properties. You will join a team of maintenance professionals whose responsibilities include:

• Performing in-unit repairs, preventative maintenance, and unit turnovers.
• Preparing properties for upcoming inspections.
• Completing work orders, including light electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry work.
• Providing access to contractors and inspectors as needed.
• Performing groundskeeping, general building maintenance, and maintenance of exterior and common areas.

The work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm with on-call duties shared on rotation.

Skills & Requirements

Your Qualifications:

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a strong customer service philosophy.

• Knowledge of general apartment repair and experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work is required.
• Experience with Yardi or other work order systems is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.
