We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep SPACE St Andrews looking and working at its best.
You'll take ownership of day-to-day maintenance across our residents' rooms, apartments and shared spaces. From fixing a dripping tap to preparing rooms for new arrivals, you'll help make sure SPACE always feels well looked after.
Your role will include:
You'll be working in our residents' homes, so how you deal with people matters.
We're looking for someone friendly, approachable and professional who can explain what they're doing, respect residents' spaces and leave every job clean and tidy.
We also want someone who notices things. At SPACE, if something doesn't look right, we don't just walk past it.
You'll ideally have previous maintenance, facilities or trade experience and be confident tackling a range of everyday repairs.
You'll be practical, organised and good at solving problems, with the ability to prioritise when things get busy. You'll be comfortable working independently but equally happy getting stuck in as part of the wider SPACE team.
A relevant trade qualification, student accommodation or residential experience, and IOSH or NEBOSH training would be an advantage, but aren't essential.
Above all, we're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, cares about the resident experience and wants SPACE to look its best every day.
