Job summary

TXM Recruit are seeking a Maintenance Operative to support an in-house supermarket maintenance team across several stores. The role is based in Boston / Market Deeping with a 12-week temp-to-perm pathway.

Shifts run 6am–3pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work paid at enhanced rates and overtime at 1.5x. A company van, tools, and uniform are provided, plus extensive benefits on permanent hire.

Qualifications

• General reactive maintenance in store environments across toilets, shop floor and communal areas.
• Ability to carry out basic repairs such as lightbulbs, taps, doors, shelves, plastering, painting, carpentry and plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Perform general reactive maintenance across multiple stores.
• Carry out minor repairs and routine checks on fixtures and fittings.
• Complete routine tasks using the in-hand PDA tablet; report issues and notes.
• Support PPMs including Legionella and Fire Alarm testing (training provided).
• Assist with building inspections and site checks as required.

Maintenance Operative - IND1

TXM Recruit are currently looking for a maintenance operative to work for an inhouse supermarket maintenance team on a 12-week temp to perm scheme. This role will be based with autonomous working completing planned maintenance across a few stores.

• Location - Boston / Market Deeping
• Salary -£29,328.86/yr or £14.01/ph
• Hours- 6am to 3pm - Monday to Friday (Can be flexed slightly for childcare etc)
• Weekends- 1-in-4 weekend shift (1.25x rate for Sunday)
• Overtime -Overtime is there at 1.5x
• 12-week temp to perm scheme

As a Maintenance Operative yourdutieswill be but not limited to

• General reactive maintenance in store from toilets, shop floor and communal areas.
• This may include changing lightbulbs, replacing taps or toilet seats hanging doors or fixing shelves. Patch plaster. rendering, painting or minor carpentry and plumbing repairs.
• PPMs such as Legionella, Fire Alarm Testing, Sprinkler Testing (training provided).
• Building inspections including roof walks and building checks to exterior
• Cark Park checks - drain covers, trolley shelters, bollards
• There will be daily duties to ensure the tablet is updated, this may be reporting issues, H&S notes or sending emails. Technology will be used in the form of a PDA Tablet and Company provided Smartphone.
