Job summary

Probe UK Limited in the UK is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our DAYS-based maintenance team. You will undertake planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of production plant and equipment, helping to sustain reliable output in a stable engineering environment.

The role requires formal electrical qualifications (City & Guilds or NVQ) and experience with PLC controls and robots in high‑volume manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Formal electrical qualifications to City & Guilds or NVQ standard.
• Experience in planned and reactive maintenance in high-volume automated production environments.
• Exposure to PLC controls and robots is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a wide range of production plant and equipment.
• Undertake both planned and reactive maintenance in a small, effective team.
• Support continuous improvement and plant reliability.

Duties of a Maintenance Technician:

Working within a small but effective team you will be required to undertake both planned and reactive maintenance to our wide range of production plant & equipment.

Requirements of a Maintenance Technician:

As a maintenance technician you must hold formal electrical qualifications to either a City & Guilds or NVQ standard, allied ideally having undertaken an electrical apprenticeship.

In addition you must also have experience of undertaking planned and reactive maintenance to plant and equipment within high volume automated production or manufacturing environment, where you have gained exposure to supporting Plc controls and Robots.
