About The Role

Working in our Technical Services mobile team on a Major Retail contract, with opportunities to support other Commercial and Residential contracts within our expanding division.

Key Responsibilities

1. Complete all Reactive Works orders and PPMs within the contract-defined SLAs & KPIs.
2. Contribute to overall efficiency, effectiveness, and contract profitability.
3. Support the implementation of an integrated service delivery approach, ensuring all works are safe, timely, within budget, and meet quality standards.
4. Provide on-call support approximately 1 week in 8.
5. Plan, inspect, and carry out repairs or preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns promptly.
6. Perform building fabric repairs, small plumbing, joinery, and other maintenance tasks.
7. Assist with other facilities work as required.
8. Provide quotations for recommended works.
9. Ensure safety procedures are followed before starting work.
10. Maintain high standards on-site and provide general handyman services, including L8 compliance.
11. Liaise with subcontractors, cleaners, and security to ensure effective facilities management.
12. Respond to callouts approximately once every 4 weeks.

Essential Hiring Criteria

1. Time-served Fabric Engineer with maintenance experience.
2. Skills in Carpentry, Painting & Decorating, Door Hanging, Carpet/Lino repairs, Glazing, Masonry, Locksmithing, Tiling, and ceiling grid/tile work.
3. L8 ACOP certification.
4. Knowledge of safety documentation and site safety procedures.
5. Legionella awareness.
6. CSCS Skills card or equivalent.
7. First Aid certification.
8. Valid driving license.
9. Basic IT skills, including Excel and Microsoft Office.
