Maintenance Technician - Isleport Site, Highbridge

Join our site Maintenance Team at a distinctive, ambitious, and trusted manufacturing company dedicated to making great British dairy the right way. Working closely with the Maintenance Team Manager, you'll support the safe delivery of engineering services in a high-performing workplace.

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 7:00am until 19:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain site assets under the guidance of the Logistics Maintenance Manager, utilizing the site Computerised Maintenance Management System, stores, and spares.
• Complete preventative routines and scheduled maintenance as per plan.
• Apply problem-solving techniques and root cause analysis to prevent, detect, and eliminate faults and inefficiencies.
• Prioritize tasks across the site to minimize equipment downtime.
• Deliver high standards of maintenance work.
• Collaborate with other teams and co-owners to manage tasks effectively.
• Understand and contribute to site, departmental, and individual performance measures.

What Do You Need?

• Demonstrable experience in maintenance best practices and application of knowledge.
• Logical fault-finding approach.
• Problem-solving skills and workload prioritization ability.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in numeracy, literacy, and Microsoft Office.
• Qualifications: BTEC and/or NVQ or equivalent in at least two disciplines such as plumbing/HVAC or electrical maintenance.
• Resource development skills.
• Proactive approach to preventative maintenance and fault diagnostics.
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, engaging and inquisitive nature.
