Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd in Madeley (Telford area) is recruiting a Maintenance Technician to join a UK manufacturing site. You'll handle electrical and mechanical maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and carry out planned preventive maintenance to keep machinery running reliably.

You'll work on PLCs and automation, pursue continuous improvement initiatives, and benefit from a strong benefits package including pension, life cover and gym access.

Qualifications

• Multiskilled maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding expertise.
• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Experience working in a UK manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLCs and fault finding using inputs/outputs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical and mechanical systems and respond to breakdowns.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and CI initiatives.
• Support site machinery and engineering infrastructure.

Job Role of the Maintenance Technician

A great opportunity has come to market for a Maintenance Technician to join a company that consistently invests in its site, equipment, and engineering infrastructure, ensuring engineers can work with reliable machinery and modern systems.

You will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance, responding to breakdowns, completing planned preventative maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across site machinery.

Essential requirements for the Maintenance Technician

Requirements for the Maintenance Technician

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• Experience with working on PLC's, ideally being able to fault find using inputs and outputs
