Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Grimsby, England, to perform preventative and reactive maintenance across building services. You will diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and maintain logs while ensuring health and safety compliance.

The role requires strong customer service, good communication, and the ability to coordinate with contractors on site. The position is full-time with standard hours 8am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime possibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative & reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and implement effective repairs across all building services systems.
• Repairs floor & wall coverings.
• Responsible for other building maintenance & installation works as required.
• Accountable for lighting, general lamp changes, Filter Changes AHU's / FCU's and Basic Plumbing requirements
• Provide excellent customer service, respond to requests, and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.
• Oversee and liaise with contractors across site.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment logs.
• Ensure adherence to health & safety regulations, conduct inspections, and maintain accurate records of compliance.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform preventative & reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and implement effective repairs across all building services systems.
• Repairs floor & wall coverings.
• Responsible for other building maintenance & installation works as required.
