Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Tech to support facilities management across the Grimsby region. You will perform preventative and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and implement repairs on building services, ensuring minimal downtime and high standards of service.

The role includes liaising with contractors and maintaining logs. The ideal candidate will have experience in high‑profile environments, be PC literate, and possess strong customer relationship

• Previous fabric experience advantageous.

• Good customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative & reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and implement repairs across building services.
• Repair floor and wall coverings as needed.
• Carry out general building maintenance and installation tasks.
• Manage lighting, lamp changes, filter changes in AHUs/FCUs and basic plumbing requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to requests, maintaining communication with stakeholders.
• Oversee and liaise with contractors on site.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections and equipment logs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and record keeping.

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management, are recruiting a mobile handyman to join the team. You will be located in the East Coast of England (Grimsby, Colchester, Hornsea, Humberside)

What You'll Do:

The Role:

• Perform preventative & reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and implement effective repairs across all building services systems.
• Repairs floor & wall coverings.
• Responsible for other building maintenance & installation works as required.
• Accountable for lighting, general lamp changes, Filter Changes AHUs / FCUs and Basic Plumbing requirements
• Provide excellent customer service, respond to requests, and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.
• Oversee and liaise with contractors across site.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment logs.
• Ensure adherence to health & safety regulations, conduct inspections, and maintain accurate records of compliance.

Working Hours:

• 8am - 4:30pm
• Monday to Friday
