Job summary

NRL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our client’s team on an initial 3-month temporary contract, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Qualifications

  • ONC/HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Solid understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong team player.
  • Clear communication and proactive approach in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain in-depth knowledge of MAE and equipment maintenance techniques to deliver efficient service.
  • Share information with team members to support shared objectives and effectiveness.
  • Use expertise to improve MAE reliability through proactive planning and execution.
  • Generate and share improvement ideas to optimise performance.
  • Identify and eliminate root causes of unplanned downtime.
  • Complete planned and follow-up maintenance tasks to a high standard.
  • Detect common faults and propose practical solutions.
  • Reduce waste and inefficiencies through planned activity.
  • Contribute to the development of systems, procedures and work standards that enhance existing processes.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of CNC and general engineering machinery.

NRL is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our client’s team on an initial 3-month temporary contract, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Shift Patterns
Location and Working Pattern
  • - Shift options:
  • - Continental shifts (12 hours) – 4 on, 4 off
  • - 3 shifts – Monday to Friday (37 hours): day, back, night

  • - Strong communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
  • - Flexible and adaptable with a proactive approach.
  • - Resilient and able to manage pressure effectively.
