Opening its doors to students for the very first time this September, Glassworks is our brand-new student accommodation building — and we’re looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our friendly and supportive team at Fresh.

Glassworks is looking to appoint a Maintenance Technician to work Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.

The successful candidate will be required to start from 1st August 2025, ahead of the building opening to students in September.

About the role:

Are you a problem solver with a knack for fixing things? Do you thrive working in a role where you are accountable for ensuring the smooth operation of minor reactive repairs and carrying out planned maintenance? If so, Fresh has just the role for you!

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for statutory compliance for your building, as well as managing the large commercial waste bins stored outside the building.

You will be the go-to expert on all things maintenance, whether handling routine fixes or tackling unexpected issues. Most importantly, you’ll be accountable for making the building a welcoming, safe place for our residents to live!

About you:

We’re looking for a hands-on individual with the ability to fix, maintain, and improve the building. You will bring technical expertise, a strong work ethic, and an upbeat attitude when facing challenges. A solid background in maintenance, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills are essential for everyday issues.
