Job Description

Our client has a new exciting role for an experienced Maintenance/Technical Operator, to work for one of the best manufacturing companies in the Portsmouth area, who pay competitive salaries, excellent benefits, and a great working environment.

To support production operations with the assembly and maintenance elements of our client’s product ranges, for this role the ideal candidate will have a manufacturing maintenance background.

Hours: Double Days, Monday – Friday – 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm alternating weekly.

Responsibilities:

• Perform first-line fault finding, basic equipment calibration, setup, and routine maintenance.
• Maintain manufacturing machinery.
• Read, understand, and follow all required documentation, e.g., SOPs, QCPs, Product and Technical drawings.
• Achieve targets and quality standards set by Production Management.
• Work effectively with cross-functional and mixed-ability teams.
• Provide daily support to meet customer expectations.
• Maintain regular communication with the Production Leader regarding performance issues, quality, and equipment concerns.
• Recognize and resolve critical issues promptly.
• Maintain high levels of Health and Safety at all times.
