Job summary

Rullion in Liverpool Train Care Depot is seeking Dual Skilled Maintenance Team Members with mechanical and electrical skills to join a focused, safety‑driven team. You will service, repair, and upgrade rolling stock, working on a 3‑shift roster.

You'll need an ONC/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering, be able to fault‑find complex systems, and be flexible to nights and weekends. North-West residence is preferred due to travel considerations.

Qualifications

• ONC/NVQ Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification is essential.
• Experience in rolling stock or similar large-scale transport sectors.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Residence in North-West region due to travel/time considerations.

Job description

Rullion are looking for talented Dual Skilled Maintenance Team Members with mechanical / electrical skills to join our team at Liverpool Train Care Depot. This is a fantastic chance to grow your career in rolling stock maintenance, while working with a friendly, supportive, and highly skilled team.

3-Shift Roster (Days & Nights)

4 day or 5 day week / (7:00 - 16:00).

Night shifts are currently 1 week block of shifts in around 8-week rotation (4 Nights).

Pay rates (3-Shift):

Equipment: PPE provided by Rullion, tooling provided by client

Your role:

• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing high-profile rolling stock fleets
• Working to service and modify the arm rests on the fleet.
• Fault finding, diagnosing and resolving faults
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
• Supporting continuous improvements in quality and performance

About you:

• A recognised ONC/NVQ Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification is essential.
• Experience in Rolling Stock, Aerospace, Military Engineering, Automotive, or other large-scale transport sectors
• Strong mechanical / electrical fault-finding skills
• Flexibility to work shifts (including nights and weekends if required)
• Reside in the North-West region (due to travel time and fatigue considerations)
