Polypipe Doncaster is seeking an Engineering Team Leader to maintain plant equipment and lead a first-line engineering team. You’ll support planned maintenance, allocate resources for reactive work, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure reliability.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage safety documentation, and report on daily, weekly and monthly performance while mentoring apprentices and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Engineering background and experience leading maintenance teams.
• Experience in automated, fast-paced environments with KPIs.
• Ability to manage a multi-disciplined team and CMMS use.
• Proven TPM/Routine development and safety documentation.

Responsabilités

• Lead day-to-day maintenance and repair to meet KPIs.
• Prioritise workload and respond to urgent issues.
• Identify skills gaps and drive development.
• Promote continuous improvement and safe practices.
• Coordinate with internal/external departments to sustain customer satisfaction.
• Ensure safe operation and maintain safety documentation (SISI, 5S, PTW).
