Job summary

Arthur Rose Recruitment Ltd is helping a well-established Heavy Industry/FMCG company in the Wakefield area fill a Maintenance Team Lead role. The position is days only with a salary of £48,000–£54,000 per year.

You will maintain existing plant and equipment, support across sites, and respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime while driving improvements in systems and documentation. 18th edition knowledge and NVQ/ONC/HNC are preferred.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge to handle electrical and mechanical engineering activities on site.
• Experience leading a small team of Engineers.
• Comfort with 18th edition wiring regulations.
• Familiar with instrumentation and process controllers.
• Experience in a 24/7 production environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain existing plant and equipment and assist with new installations on site.
• Support the wider engineering team across sites.
• Respond to breakdowns to reduce downtime and improve production.
• Improve systems on site and update technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and review safety systems.

Job description

We are working are working with a well established Heavy Industry/FMCG company based in the Wakefield area, They are looking for a Maintenance Team Lead to join them on a Days only basis

Salary: £48,000 - £54,000

Job Role:

• Maintaining excising plant and equipment and assisting with new installations on site.


• Supporting the wider engineering team across sites


• Respond to breakdowns efficiently in order to reduce machine downtime and increase production across site, minimising breakdowns through regular PPM's.


• Improving current systems on site including any technical documentation.


• Complying with all health & safety regulations and reviewing safety systems.

Job Requirements:

• Technical knowledge and capability to handle the Electrical and Mechanical engineering activities of their plant.


• Experience leading a small team of Engineers


• Apprentice trained in a relevant electrical engineering discipline.


• 18th edition wiring regulations.


• Familiarity with Instrumentation and Process Controllers.


• Experience, preferably in a 24/7 Production Environment.


• Working on a Call Out basis when required.

Qualifications:

• Relevant Qualifications - NVQ/ONC/HNC


• Apprentice Trained


• H.V. Awareness Qualification. - Advantageous


• Siemens S5 and S7 experience. - Advantageous
