Job summary

Accor UK Economy Hotels Limited is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to implement and manage hotel maintenance programs across Accor properties. You will diagnose issues, plan preventive maintenance and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

You will supervise site teams, communicate with General Managers and contractors, and help develop maintenance budgets. A proactive, detail‑oriented approach and knowledge of HSEQ requirements are essential.

Responsibilities

• Implement maintenance programs for their hotels
• Reactive and preventive maintenance to keep hotel safe and functional
• Manage maintenance projects per Accor quality requirements
• Diagnose breakdowns and organise timely repairs
• Perform scheduled planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
• Document breakdowns, identify root causes and implement remedial actions
• Ensure all work complies with health, safety and environmental regulations
• Undertake risk assessments and implement safe systems of work
• Organise and supervise team members, provide instructions and support
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs
• Work with GMs to develop maintenance budgets and ensure hotel compliance
• Liaise with GMs, Maintenance Managers and Cluster Managers
• Manage contractors on site to meet requirements and take responsibility

Job Description

• Responsible for the implementation of the maintenance programs for their hotels
• Responsible for the reactive and preventive maintenance of the Hotel site, to ensure it remains a functional, pleasant and safe environment for all employees, guests and visitors
• Manage maintenance projects and work in accordance with Accor’s quality requirements
• Perform effective diagnosis of breakdowns and organise a timely repair of equipment
• Perform scheduled planned preventative maintenance to minimise unplanned downtime of equipment and rooms
• Document breakdowns, identifying root causes and bring remedial actions to help prevent recurring issues
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety as well as environmental regulations and procedures
• Undertake risk assessments of processes and tasks as needed and devise and implement safe systems of working to ensure the health and safety of staff, guests and visitors
• Organise and supervise team member in their day to day tasks, providing instructions and support, if neededDocument and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs
• Work with GMs to elaborate maintenance budget and ensure compliance of their hotel
• Liaise and communicate with GMs, Maintenance Managers and/or Cluster Managers
• Manage contractors on site to ensure they meet legal and company requirementsTake responsibility and action
