Responsibilities and Duties

Reporting to the Site Leader, you will:

• Lead the Maintenance Team, ensuring full compliance with legal, health & safety, and environmental standards.
• Develop and manage preventative and reactive maintenance plans to meet operational, compliance, and output targets.
• Coordinate resources for maintenance activities, ensuring timely response to reduce production downtime.
• Monitor and assess maintenance KPIs, using trend data to drive a culture of data-led decision-making.
• Complete fault diagnosis and resolution to prevent reoccurrence.
• Plan and oversee shutdowns, ensuring all parts, labour, and safety protocols are in place.
• Manage the sites maintenance budget in collaboration with the Site Leader.
• Ensure all PPMs are completed and documented; analyse equipment failures to identify root causes.
• Maintain the site's inventory and spare parts system, contributing to the ongoing FMECA study.
• Oversee contractor activities, ensuring safety protocols and compliance are maintained.
• Support the implementation of company-wide safety initiatives and best practices.

Professional Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

• A recognised engineering or technical qualification (e.g., HNC, HND, or equivalent).
• Proven experience in leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of compliance regulations and safety standards.
• Experience managing budgets and maintenance planning tools (e.g., CMMS).
• Familiarity with Management of Change and continuous improvement processes.
