Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to take ownership of the maintenance and engineering function at the Birkhill site in Scotland.

This hands-on leadership role manages a team of 4 and coordinates external contractors to drive maintenance, reliability and site improvements. The role focuses on ensuring safe, efficient and reliable operation of plant, equipment and facilities, with responsibility for planning, PM programmes and engineering projects to

Qualifications

• HNC or HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing maintenance environments.
• Proven team management and leadership experience.
• Experience managing external contractors and service providers.
• Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 4 maintenance engineers.
• Coordinate on-site contractors and external engineering providers.
• Plan and oversee planned and reactive maintenance.
• Drive the site's PPM programme.
• Lead engineering projects, including equipment installations and upgrades.
• Investigate breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor equipment performance and reduce downtime.
• Ensure Health & Safety and statutory compliance.
• Manage maintenance costs, spare parts and engineering purchasing.
• Collaborate with Production, Planning, Quality, HSE and Group Engineering.
• Drive continuous improvement across maintenance function.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs such as downtime and reliability.
