Responsibilities:

1. Conduct pre and post inspections as a building surveyor in a maintenance environment.
2. Maintain knowledge of current codes of practice, building regulations, health and safety legislation, standards, and materials.
3. Identify construction and design-related defects and implement measures to avoid them.
4. Understand procurement law and various contract types.
5. Manage contracts effectively.
6. Utilize IT tools such as Excel and Word to produce reports and documents tailored to different audiences.
