Job summary

Elevate Projects Ltd is looking for a Maintenance Surveyor to join our team in Leatherhead and Dorking. Reporting to the Neighbourhood Repairs Manager, you will conduct pre- and post-inspection reports for responsive repairs, void works and cyclical repairs, and engage with customers, leaseholders and stakeholders to drive quality and satisfaction.

• Own legal disrepair and statutory notices for the locality.

Rate: £24.81 per hour (PAYE) / £30.52 Umbrella

About the Role

We are seeking a Maintenance Surveyor to join our team in Leatherhead and Dorking. Reporting to the Neighbourhood Repairs Manager, you will be responsible for pre- and post-inspection and reports for responsive repairs, void works, and cyclical repairs. You will consult and engage with customers, leaseholders, and internal and external stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of delivery, minimal defects, and high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate repair, maintenance, and construction work to deliver on time, within budget (£10m regional budget), and to quality standards.
• Undertake building and technical surveys to determine building condition, identify defects, and associated risks.
• Carry out major void inspections and ensure work is completed in line with KPIs.
• Make recommendations based on survey findings.
• Effectively manage the performance of Clarion's contractors to ensure works are delivered on time, to quality standards, and achieve value for money.
• Have ownership of legal disrepair and statutory notices issued to Clarion for the locality.

Requirements

• Diploma in Surveying, Property and Maintenance Level 3.
• Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS or CIOB).
