Job summary

Wren Kitchens is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to join our expanding Engineering team at our manufacturing facility in Howden. You will oversee day-to-day maintenance activities, ensuring planned and reactive tasks are completed efficiently with minimal disruption to production.

As the link between the Engineering Manager and the maintenance team, you will coordinate workloads, support performance, and uphold high safety and IMS compliance across the site.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) qualification.
• Proven experience in engineering/manufacturing environments.
• Experience planning PPM schedules and reactive maintenance.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Supervisory or leadership experience in engineering.

Responsibilities

• Plan workloads with the Engineering Manager and allocate jobs.
• Minimise downtime during maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers for materials and equipment.
• Ensure repairs and projects meet high standards and regulations.
• Communicate updates across the Maintenance team.
• Monitor performance and escalate concerns as needed.
• Support PPM and reactive maintenance activities.
• Promote health and safety culture within the engineering function.
• Ensure IMS and company policies are followed.
