Linde AMT UK Limited in Swindon is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Night Shift to lead an electro-mechanical team across plant equipment and facilities.

The role focuses on planning preventive and reactive maintenance, driving reliability, and supporting production activities while ensuring safety and compliance within a demanding manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in electro-mechanical repair and installation.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience with control systems and PLCs in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on technical approach with problem-solving ability.

Responsabilités

• Lead, supervise, and support the Night Shift Maintenance team.
• Plan and coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance activities.
• Ensure machinery is maintained to maximise reliability and uptime.
• Oversee fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Provide technical support to Maintenance and Production teams.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company policies.
• Manage maintenance records, schedules, and contractor coordination.

What you will enjoy doing

• You will lead, supervise, and support the Maintenance Night Shift Team, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently
• You will plan and coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance activities across all plant equipment and facilities
• Further you will ensure machinery and equipment are maintained to maximise reliability, performance, and uptime
• Overseeing fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems will be part of your role
• You will provide technical support and guidance to both the Maintenance and Production teams
• Further you will drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation, company policies, and safe working practices will be part of your role
• You will manage maintenance records, schedules, contractors, and maintenance-related documentation

What makes you great

• To succeed in this position you will be fully proficient and experienced in electro-mechanical repair and installation and have a BTEC/C&G in electrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification
• You have previous supervisory or team leadership experience
• Experience with control systems, programmable logic controllers, and process equipment typically used in manufacturing environment is required
• You will have a technical, hands-on approach
• You have the ability to work in a demanding user environment with a strong capacity to drive change and continuous improvement
• You have strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
• Further you have excellent communication and people management skills

Salary range: £39,000 - £44,000
