Job Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced Plasterer & Groundworker Groundworker Supervisor to oversee responsive and planned maintenance works within the social housing sector in North London. This is a temporary contract offering £23 per hour, with a company van and fuel card provided.

This is a hands-on supervisory role requiring a skilled individual with a background in both plastering and groundworks, who is comfortable leading a small team of operatives on-site and liaising with tenants, contractors, and the internal management team to ensure high standards of workmanship and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise day-to-day site operations across various social housing sites in North London
2. Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification
3. Organise and allocate daily tasks to operatives and monitor progress
4. Act as point of contact between tenants and the housing provider/client
5. Carry out site inspections and quality checks on completed work
6. Report and resolve on-site issues in a timely and professional manner
7. Maintain accurate records of works completed and materials used

Requirements:

1. Proven experience in plastering and groundworks within the social housing or maintenance sector
2. Previous supervisory or team-leading experience
3. Full UK driving licence (essential)
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
