Job summary

SRG is seeking an experienced Shift Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of multi-skilled engineers in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing setting. You will drive plant performance, minimize downtime and develop high-performing maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of engineers and contractors during shift operations.
• Prioritise planned and reactive maintenance to maximise plant availability.
• Carry out fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on industrial machinery.
• Drive preventative maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement long-term corrective actions.
• Ensure all engineering work is completed safely and in compliance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using a CMMS.

What We're Looking For:

• HNC in Mechanical or Plant Engineering.
• Previous experience supervising engineering teams in manufacturing, processing, recycling, or heavy industrial environments.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding.
• Ability to lead under pressure and prioritize workloads in a fast-paced environment.
