Job summary

LGH Hotels Management Limited seeks a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor for our Holiday Inn London - Regent’s Park. You will oversee daily maintenance, coordinate the team, and resolve issues quickly to keep the guest environment safe and comfortable.

In this role you’ll lead preventative maintenance, manage budgets, liaise with contractors, and report to senior management. The ideal candidate is organized, practical, and enjoys problem-solving in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations, ensuring tasks are prioritised, completed on time, and delivered to a high standard.
• Coordinate rotas, assign work, and provide clear direction to the maintenance team.
• Act as the first point of escalation for maintenance issues, responding calmly and efficiently.
• Support the development and delivery of preventative maintenance programmes to reduce breakdowns and disruption.
• Carry out regular inspections of facilities and equipment, identifying issues early and ensuring swift resolution.
• Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely and in line with health & safety legislation and hotel procedures.
• Promote a culture of care, responsibility, and attention to detail across the team.
• Monitor energy usage and help introduce energy-saving initiatives where possible.
• Support budget management for maintenance and repairs, ensuring cost-effective decisions without compromising quality.
• Liaise with contractors and suppliers, ensuring work is completed to standard, on time, and within budget.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, costs, and parts used.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on maintenance activity and emerging issues.
• Assist with the recruitment, training, and ongoing development of maintenance colleagues.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Day-to-Day Maintenance Leadership
