You'll oversee preventative maintenance programmes, equipment operations, and building systems while ensuring compliance with UK safety standards and regulations. What this job involves:

You'll oversee preventative maintenance programmes, equipment operations, and building systems while ensuring compliance with UK safety standards and regulations. What your day-to-day will look like:

• Supervise and mentor maintenance staff, conducting performance reviews and fostering professional development
• Manage preventive maintenance programmes and equipment operations to ensure optimal building system performance
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repairs, installations, and service agreements in accordance with UK procurement practices
• Implement energy conservation measures and sustainable practices to improve building efficiency and meet UK carbon reduction targets
• Ensure compliance with UK safety regulations, building regulations, and environmental requirements including HSE guidelines
• Develop and maintain accurate documentation for building systems, equipment, and maintenance procedures
• Collaborate with property management teams to address client needs and respond to emergency situations
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in building engineering or facilities management in the UK
• Supervisory experience managing maintenance or engineering teams
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems within UK buildings
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with ability to build collaborative teams
• Proficiency with building management systems and relevant software applications
