Job summary

Residential - Delta Point is seeking an experienced Residential Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day upkeep of a growing residential portfolio in Croydon. You will lead in-house engineers, train staff, and step in hands-on to ensure repairs and maintenance are completed efficiently to a high standard.

You will oversee preventative maintenance, inspections, health and safety, and contractor management as part of a busy operations team.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising residential maintenance teams and handling contractors.
• Strong knowledge of building services incl. plumbing, electrical and HVAC.
• Experience ensuring health and safety and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Organised, proactive and able to work independently.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CMMS/maintenance systems.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Residential Maintenance Supervisor to join a fast-growing real estate company with a residential portfolio of 1,500 units and a future pipeline of around 4,000 apartments.

Working alongside the Head of Maintenance and wider operations team, you will oversee the day-to-day maintenance of multiple residential buildings. You will lead, train, and support a team of in-house maintenance engineers while also working hands-on when required to ensure repairs and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the maintenance team across residential blocks

• Oversee day-to-day repairs and resident maintenance requests

Requirements

• Previous experience in a residential maintenance or supervisory role
• Strong technical knowledge of general building maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Experience managing maintenance teams and contractors
• Good understanding of health and safety and compliance requirements
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Organised, proactive, and able to work independently
• Confident using Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems
• Full driving licence is essential

Preferred Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in maintenance, plumbing, electrical, or a related trade
• IOSH or NEBOSH certification
• Experience with residential block management software
