The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading, guiding, and supporting the Maintenance Department to achieve its goals in maintaining, repairing, and replacing foundry and machining equipment, as well as supporting systems and facility infrastructure. This hands-on role operates in a fast-paced production environment and requires a proactive individual who is willing and able to work alongside employees daily.
Salary Range:
$80,000 - $110,000
The salary range provided reflects the company's base pay compensation for this position. Salary is dependent on various factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, the local market, candidate's skills, experience, education, and internal compensation comparisons.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Execute supervisory responsibilities such as planning, assigning, and directing work; managing attendance; interviewing, onboarding, and training employees; overseeing performance; administering corrective actions; and addressing employee concerns to maintain high morale.
- Implement lean initiatives to improve safety, quality, and costs in maintenance operations. Lead or participate in Kaizen events and GEMBA walks. Engage in daily team meetings and problem-solving sessions.
- Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing compliance with Safety Policies and OSHA regulations.
- Manage work orders and preventative maintenance within the CMMS, and order parts to support timely repairs.
- Evaluate facility and equipment issues, provide technical guidance, and seek continuous improvement measures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure smooth shift-to-shift transitions with attention to detail, tailored to specific tasks.

Education and Experience Requirements
- At least 2 years of maintenance leadership experience or
- High School Diploma or GED
- Advanced vocational or technical training preferred
- 5+ years in maintenance roles, with leadership experience preferred
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications
Physical Requirements
- Work primarily indoors in a manufacturing environment, with possible outdoor exposure
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, twisting; good hand and finger dexterity
- Lifting up to 50 lbs., occasionally up to 70 lbs., and working at heights up to 20 feet
- Ability to handle varying temperatures and stand for long periods
- Use of PPE as required
