Job summary

Southern Housing is seeking a Scheduler to coordinate repairs and scheduling from Croydon, London, with a focus on efficient turnarounds and accurate allocation to trade operatives. The role is based at Unit 11, The Tramsheds, Coomber Way, Croydon.

You will manage the in-house appointment system, ensure PDA updates, and monitor job statuses to keep repairs on track and residents satisfied in a housing maintenance setting.

Qualifications

• Experience of scheduling work within a maintenance environment.
• Experience of delivering a front-line, customer-focused service.
• Experience of working within a housing management or maintenance environment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule works orders through the in-house appointments system.
• Allocate repairs to trade operatives and sub-contractors.
• Ensure operatives use PDAs and input schedule of rate codes correctly.
• Monitor repairs and update job statuses daily, including target times and overdue jobs.
