Description:
Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, this position provides service repair and training for our automated material handling system, AS/RS, and similar systems. The primary objective is to ensure maximum availability of Material Handling Systems to warehouse operations and to provide excellent customer service to the facility.

Key Accountabilities:
- Participate in troubleshooting, testing, repairs, and overhauls of semi-complex equipment.
- Train lower-level technicians in maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.
- Perform maintenance on tools and test equipment, maintaining documentation of inspections, maintenance, repairs, and failures.
- Respond to service calls throughout the facility, including automation systems.
- Assess equipment performance using CMMS/WMS data and recommend improvements.
- Perform work within a highly technical area, identifying and solving complex problems.
- Maintain preventive maintenance practices and schedule adherence using Web-Based CMMS.
- Follow OSHA safety rules and work safely.
- Maintain accurate reports within the company CMMS.
- Troubleshoot minor electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment repair issues.
- Perform routine plumbing repairs to ensure proper functioning of toilets, sinks, pipes, and water fountains.
- Experience with material handling equipment, especially Case Conveyors, Pallet Conveyors, and AS/RS systems, is highly valued.
- Understanding of PLCs, electrical troubleshooting, and ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and achieve performance goals.
- Strong analytical skills.
Requirements:
- Two years of technical college or specialized training.
- Minimum five years of related experience or two years as an auto technician.
