Description:

Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, this position provides service repair and training for our automated material handling system, AS/RS, and similar systems. The primary objective is to ensure maximum availability of Material Handling Systems to warehouse operations and to provide excellent customer service to the facility.

Key Accountabilities:

• Participate in troubleshooting, testing, repairs, and overhauls of semi-complex equipment.
• Train lower-level technicians in maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.
• Perform maintenance on tools and test equipment, maintaining documentation of inspections, maintenance, repairs, and failures.
• Respond to service calls throughout the facility, including automation systems.
• Assess equipment performance using CMMS/WMS data and recommend improvements.
• Perform work within a highly technical area, identifying and solving complex problems.
• Maintain preventive maintenance practices and schedule adherence using Web-Based CMMS.
• Follow OSHA safety rules and work safely.
• Maintain accurate reports within the company CMMS.
• Troubleshoot minor electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment repair issues.
• Perform routine plumbing repairs to ensure proper functioning of toilets, sinks, pipes, and water fountains.
• Experience with material handling equipment, especially Case Conveyors, Pallet Conveyors, and AS/RS systems, is highly valued.
• Understanding of PLCs, electrical troubleshooting, and ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and achieve performance goals.
• Strong analytical skills.
