• In the role you will offer and implement solutions for the maintenance and replacement of obsolete and aging plant assets
• You will design and execute projects toupgrade existing special gases and Dissolved Acetylene (DA) productionplant and processes
• Develop, design and implement newprojects to meet the current and future needs of the special gases and DA businesses
• Furthermore, you will be involved in project engineering of site developments, which will include controlling feasibility, scope, costs, timescales and resource requirements to meet business objectives
• Commissioning of equipment, training of operatives and maintenance technicians, to ensure complete handover to site

What makes you great

• A degree in either Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• Progressing towards chartered engineering status
• Experience of process and mechanical design and/or operational experience of compressed gasses. (Typical time to gain sufficient experience for this role in previous operational or engineering graduate roles is 3-5 yrs)
• Experience of project safety review techniques, such as HAZOP
