Maintenance Project Engineer

What You Will Enjoy Doing

• Offer and implement solutions for the maintenance and replacement of obsolete and aging plant assets.
• Design and execute projects to upgrade existing special gases and Dissolved Acetylene (DA) production plants and processes.
• Develop, design, and implement new projects to meet the current and future needs of the special gases and DA businesses.
• Participate in project engineering of site developments, including controlling feasibility, scope, costs, timescales, and resource requirements to meet business objectives.
• Oversee commissioning of equipment, train operatives and maintenance technicians, and ensure complete handover to site.

What Makes You Great

• A degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Progressing towards chartered engineering status.
• Experience in process and mechanical design and/or operational experience with compressed gases (typical experience: 3-5 years).
• Experience with project safety review techniques, such as HAZOP.
• Project engineering experience.
