Job Opportunity: Maintenance Plumber

Stride Recruitment is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Plumber to join our long-standing Building Service Provider clients in Dartford, Kent. Candidates should have a Mechanical or Plumbing background in maintenance.

Main Purpose:

The Maintenance plumber will ensure the completion of PPM and reactive maintenance checks, including water treatment, fire alarm / AHU work, and full mechanical shutdowns across the hospital.

Main Accountabilities:

• Complete PPM and remedial work.
• Maintain a positive work ethos.
• Collaborate within a small maintenance team including mechanical & electrical shift engineers and support staff.

Requirements:

• Good technical ability and knowledge of various systems; building maintenance knowledge is preferred.
• Fully qualified Mechanical engineer or Plumber with City and Guilds.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to multi-task, be methodical, and proactive in problem-solving.
