Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in Doncaster is seeking a Maintenance Plumber to join our team. You will carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and fault finding on plumbing and mechanical systems throughout the facility.

The role requires NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing, strong fault-finding skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• NVQ / City & Guilds Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing.
• Experience in a maintenance plumbing role.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems and maintenance practices.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent time management and organisation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs, installations, replacements, testing and fault-finding on water supply and distribution systems.
• Install water systems, pipework and fixtures in line with drawings, specifications, regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain waste and vent pipe systems using appropriate equipment such as drain rods, plungers and jet washers.
• Support contractors and on-site teams with plumbing expertise during projects and equipment installations.
• Complete plumbing safety inspections and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks, including backflow devices where certified.
• Assist in maintaining safe and compliant building operations.
• Provide guidance and basic plumbing training to maintenance colleagues where required.
• Carry out general building maintenance duties as directed.
• Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and breakdown situations.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements and company procedures.
• Undertake any other duties reasonably requested by management.
